2. Stage 1g Horse Behaviour Fundamentals Primary Ground Skills Online
Application of ground skills in understanding horse behaviour. Using 12ft line, halter, communication stick and 6ft string, learning the patterns horses use for communication. Understanding body language. Desensitisation.
Course covers: Understanding patterns horses use for communication using a 12 foot line • Understanding patterns horses use for communication using obstacles • Understanding Trailer loading • Saddling without being tied • Mounting both sides.
3. Stage 1r Horse Behaviour Fundamentals Primary Ridden Skills
Application of the Stage 1g concepts now in the saddle. Understanding and using basic rein positions. Riding using one rein.
Course covers: Ridding using one rein and the reasons for doing so, Hind and forequarters yields • Backwards and sideways yields • Walk, trot and canter • Shying and spooking when riding.

4. Stage 2g Understanding Horse Behaviour Ground Skills Online A (12ft)
More advanced application of ground skills in understanding horse behaviour. Use of 12ft line and extending your understanding of the patterns horses use for communication. Development of positive reflexes.
Course covers: Giving more purpose to the primary ground skills on a 12 foot line • Understanding patterns horses use for communication using obstacles such as water jumps, jumps • Change of direction at trot plus upward and downward transitions • trailer loading.
5. Stage 2r Horse Behaviour Ridden Patterns A
Application of the Stage 2g concepts in the saddle. Understanding Freestyle concepts and the importance of Freestyle ridden in the development of the horse. Riding using two reins.
Course covers: Saddling without tying • Lowering horses head to bridle • Stands still to be mounted (both sides) • Mount from a fence • Freestyle (Positive reflexes, Relax to slow to stop, becoming a passenger at walk, trot and canter) • Transitions • Back up without reins • Understanding sideways and its importance in lateral movements. |

6. Stage 3g Understanding Horse Behaviour Ground skills Online B (22ft)
Appling your understanding of horse behaviour to greater distances, learning how to be effective from longer distances
Course covers: Use of a 22ft line to extend your understanding of the patterns horses use for communication, cantering on a 22 foot line using obstacles, jumps, hills etc , • Changes of direction at a trot, upward and downward transitions • Progressing trailer loading.
7. Stage 3r Horse Behaviour Ridden Patterns B
Application of the Stage 3g concepts in the saddle. Understanding Freestyle concepts and the importance of ridden freestyle patterns in the development of the horse. This course extends the ridden aspects of Stage 2r.
Course covers: Advanced ridden patterns in preparation for Stage 4r • Bareback riding confidence • Small jumps and ditches, introduction of the snaffle bit. |

8. Stage 4g Horse Behaviour Fundamentals at Liberty
Application of primary ground skills using Liberty techniques to understanding horse behaviour. Use of the round pen in extending your understanding of the patterns horses use for communication.
Course covers: Introduction to Liberty and use of a round pen. • Understanding how to get your horse to catch you • Change of direction at trot plus upward and downward transitions.
9. Stage 4r Horse Behaviour Intermediate Riding Skills Freestyle
Combining the patterns of Stage 2 & 3 and extending the freestyle development of your horse. This course extends the ridden aspects of Stage 3.
Course Covers: Impulsion patterns using a casual rein and communication stick • Advanced transitions • Introduction to flying changes • Bareback confidence • Small jumps and ditches • Finesse (Soft feel at a halt and walk, concentrated rein). |

10. Stage 5g Horse Behaviour, Advanced Ground Skills Online (45ft)
Advanced application of ground skills in understanding horse behaviour. Use of 45ft line and extending your understanding of the patterns horses use for communication. Further Development of positive reflexes.
Course covers: Understanding behaviour patterns using a 45 foot line • Understanding behaviour patterns on longer line using obstacles water jump, jumps • Change of direction at trot plus upward and downward transitions • Flying lead changes • Flank roping • Long reining • Trailer Loading from longer distance.
11. Stage 5r Understanding Horse behaviour to develop Engagement Advanced Riding Skills A
Application of the Stage 5g concepts in the saddle. Advancing the freestyle concepts and an understanding into the primary element of engagement and refinement. This course extends the ridden aspects of Stage 4.
Course covers: bareback with and without hackamore • Using 2 Communication Sticks for bridle-less riding • Yoyo at a canter • Jumping up to 1m (3ft3”) • Improving soft feel at walk, trot and canter. |

12. Stage 6g Horse Behaviour Advanced Ground Skills at Liberty
Application of ground skills using Liberty techniques in understanding horse behaviour. Use of the round pen in extending your understanding of the horse behaviour.
Course covers: Understanding the patterns horses use for communication at liberty in round pen and larger arenas • Liberty using obstacles (water jump, jumps etc) • Flying lead change both ways • Regulation of speed and gait • Backup • Trailer loading.
13. Stage 6r Understanding Horse behaviour to develop Engagement Advanced Riding skills B
Application of the Stage 6g concepts in the saddle. Advancing the freestyle concepts and progressing understanding of engagement and refinement . This course extends the ridden aspects of Stage 5.
Course covers: Finesse (Snaffle Bit with soft Feel) • Walk, trot and canter and regulation of speed in gait • Canter Yoyo • Roll back both ways • Dragging objects. |

14. Stage 7a Understanding Horse behaviour to develop Engagement Advanced Riding skills C
Continuation and advancement of Stage 6. Advancing the freestyle concepts and progressing understanding of engagement and refinement. This course extends the ridden aspects of Stage 6.
