A Few Words From the National Hotel Guide...
"Actually, words fail us over Heasley House. It is so rural and peaceful that all we can really say is - visit Heasley House for yourself. It is Exmoor at its best. The atmosphere and hospitality are reminiscent of bygone days. So much thought goes into the running of the hotel, and always towards the comfort and enjoyment of their guests - and the garden is really delightful." |

A Little History... |
Heasley House was originally built as a Dower House in the mid Georgian period, later to be used as a residence for the local copper mine captains. The house is full of original features and atmosphere. The cosy dining room was originally the kitchen to the old house and still contains the original fireplace and hooks in the ceiling where the game was hung.
The hamlet of Heasley Mill is in a small, sweeping valley with richly wooded slopes and water meadows reaching down to the River Mole. The area is a naturalist's paradise with an abundance of wildlife, wonderful walks and enchanting views.
You will discover that Exmoor has a very distinctive feel. Within the boundaries of the National Park you can experience the joy of inland walks and rides, taking in the relaxed atmosphere of rural life, or explore the sandy coves along England's highest and most dramatic coastline. |

Restaurant and Bar
Paul, the owner/chef works with local, seasonal ingredients to develop an interesting menu. We have developed strong links with suppliers in the region to ensure the freshest and highest quality produce is used.
The new lounge bar is the ideal place to relax and unwind. You can enjoy our fine selection of single malt whiskies, cognacs, armagnacs, or spoil yourself with champagne or a cocktail.
The wine cellar is the new focus of our attention. Together with our wine merchant we have sourced wines from the smaller estates of traditional and new wine growing areas. We are building an increasingly wide selection of excellent medium priced wines, together with The Heasley House Cellar fine wine selection.
