Dec 2006: British Horse Society Scotland Diamond Jubilee Ride Sat 26 May 2007
The BHS Scotland is inviting riders to join them in celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of The British Horse Society with a pleasure ride at Balmoral in the spring. On Saturday May 26, one hundred riders will have the opportunity to enjoy routes of varying distances (30km, 20km and 10km) at Dallyfour Farm on the Balmoral Estate, by kind permission of our Patron, Her Majesty The Queen. The routes, which are almost entirely off road, follow estate tracks through the picturesque Alltcailleach Forest offering outstanding views of Glen Muick, Royal Deeside and Lochnagar. This red letter Scottish event mirrors the celebratory 1,000 Horse Cavalcade in Windsor Great Park in July.
