Bring your horse on holiday too! |
This cosy farmhouse is situated in a breathtaking position on the Two Moors Way within beautiful Exmoor National Park - and is only one mile from historic Tarr Steps. East Hollowcombe offers B&B and stabling and grazing, so you can bring your horse and enjoy the superb outriding - either woodland or moorland rides, where red deer and Exmoor ponies freely roam. Or, if you prefer, we can arrange escorted rides from a choice of three nearby riding schools.
During the summer, there are many local horse shows and activities (such as the Hawkridge Revel & Gymkhana - last bank holiday in August - and there is also the West Ansty Show, Exford Show and South Molton Horse Show - see Equinetourism.co.uk's Events & Shows section (South West) for details).
And when you want to give your horse a well deserved day off, Moorland Rover, based in Dulverton, offers off-road tours of the countryside and wildlife. Walkers can take advantage of our 'Packhorse' service - we'll take your luggage on to your next destination. We'll also organise packed lunches and drying facilities for wet clothes.
