Hidden Trails - Atacama Desert Ride & Patagonia Race Ride
The Atacama Desert consists of salt basins (salars) sand and lava flows and the landscape is sometimes described as "moon like". The ride starts in the village of San Pedro de Atacama, at 7000ft, and will take you through the Salt flats to the Andean Highlands. The Torres del Paine National Park in Chile ride follows part of the Estancias trail and rounds off with a one day endurance race and a visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier near Calafate.
