Haylage Solutions ensures that grass is cut and baled at the optimum time to ensure consistent quality and supply.

The grass is a mixture of rye grasses, fescues, timothy and clover, which means that there is better fermentation in the bales as there are higher sugars in the traditional grasses.

Haylage Solutions offers Haylage to suit horse owners needs:

1) Early Cut Haylage
Haylage cut earlier in the season - for example, in June - contains higher protein suitable for horses in work.

2) Later Cut Haylage
Grass cut later, for example in July or August , has less energy in the grass and less protein and is suitable for horses in lighter work and native ponies, etc.
