Hunt Country
The country in Devon lies east of Exeter, adjoining the Silverton on the west, the Tiverton and Taunton Vale on the north, with the Cotley and the Axe Vale on the east.
Best centres: Exeter, Ottery St. Mary and Honiton.
Hunt History
The Hunt was started in 1890 by Colonel J.A.T. Garratt, after the South Devon, under Mr. Studd, had hunted the country one day a week for two seasons.
