A magnificent sweep of sand stretches from the seaside resort of Burnham-on-Sea, north past the holiday villages of Berrow and the Brean Sands, to the National Trust headland of Brean Down. This seven mile beach is one of the area's great attractions. Backed by dunes and with one of the highest tidal ranges in the world, the sands provide a wonderful expanse for activities including horse riding. |

2)
No unauthorised personal shall use any slip way or entrance to Burnham Beach or area of beach the length of the sea wall from the Yacht Club to Maddocks Slade for horse or pony riding.
3) The gates are open from approximately 0800hrs to 2000hrs, closing earlier from Autumn to spring.
4) Purchase tide timetables from the Tourist Information Centres (70p) or Fishing Tackle Shops.
