Cider Apple 1/2 is from Dunkery Nuthatch's first foal crop and is the founding progeny of the Westcott family's re-established Herd 1. Although shown only lightly, he has already proved himself in the show ring - and shows strong stallion potential.
Cider Apple stood Reserve Mountain and Moorland Champion at Cutcombe Show; 2nd to his sister Kerry Pippin at Royal Bath & West (Exmoor Yearlings); and 2nd in his Colt class at the 2007 EPS Christmas Foal Show.
Cider Apple is a very striking colt, with the definite stamp of his sire, Dunkery Nuthatch. He is a beautiful mover and is excellent to handle - with a temperament that is willing, trusting and kind. He is regularly handled by children.
