Montana Horses at The Mantle Ranch
With over 400 head of working horses (mostly quarter horses and quarter horse cross-bredshorses, we have developed an excellent network of reliable sources for good horses. If you lack the time to locate and screen your own new horse, or if you are afraid of the risks in buying a horse from an unknown seller, talk to us about the top-notch horses we have for sale. We specialize in safe, sound, middle aged (7-16yr) horses who are suited for family use - solid, gentle mountain trail horses, primarily stout, versatile, honest geldings. The same horses are perfect for us, too. We're not traders, we're not brokers. We have already made the ultimate commitment by purchasing the horse. We ride these horses ourselves and they have to pass our tests before we move them into the leasing or sale programs. After some time on our ranch, we have learned who they are and feel good about the process we have taken to ensure they qualify for our guarantee.
