Holidays at The Countisbury Lodge

Countisbury Lodge is a former Victorian vicarage, full of charm and character and located in a secluded and peaceful woodland setting. The Lodge has a south-facing aspect with magnificent views over the West Lyn river, as well as the picturesque village of Lynmouth and its harbour which are only a short walk away.

The Lodge is a haven for birds and these can be viewed from a 'Look Out Point', as can Lynmouth, the Bristol Channel and the South Wales coastline.

The Lodge is an excellent base for a walking holiday, to explore Exmoor National Park and to walk the North Devon and Somerset Coastal footpath. The hydro-powered Lynton Cliff Railway is within easy reach of the Lodge and this takes you from Lynmouth Harbour to the lofty Victorian village of Lynton.
