DEFRA - THE HORSE INDUSTRY
DEFRA has recently published a report of research on the horse industry in Great Britain, prepared by the Henley Centre.
The objectives of the report, broadly speaking, are to develp a workable definition of the horse industry, based on data available and to identify and investigate strategic issues affecting the industry over the next ten years.

Defra and the British Horse Industry Confederation are currently developing a strategy for the horse industry.
