Sarah Fenwick - Guest Speaker at BHS Devon Annual Meeting

Sarah Fenwick, an accredited Sport Psychologist, will be the guest speaker at this year’s British Horse Society Devon County Annual Meeting on Wednesday 20 th October 2004 at the Golden Jubilee Room at Exeter Racecourse. The meeting starts at 7.30pm and Sarah is due to speak from 8.15pm. The talk is free to BHS members and £3.00 to non members on the door.

Sarah is not only an accomplished horse woman having competed and trained horses up to advanced level in eventing but an all round sportswoman. Her sports include sailing at a national level and, at local/county level, a variety of sports including triathlon, swimming and netball. Sarah has c ompeted at world class level in Paragliding, including 3 World Records and medals at World and European Championships.

Sarah’s talk ‘Developing A High Performance Attitude’ aims to inform how sport psychology can help you and your horse. As Sarah says ‘’…sport psychology is a not a stand alone ‘fix’; physical, tactical, technical and psychological skills can be improved through the use of sport psychology interventions.’’
