PRESS RELEASEDate: 25 October 2004The British Horse Society’s President, Noel Edmonds presents the prestigious BHS Awards in London. President of The British Horse Society (BHS), Noel Edmonds, will present the Society’s Annual Awards at Saddlers’ Hall, Gutter Lane, London on Thursday 4 November, by kind permission of the Worshipful Company of Saddlers. Each year the BHS presents awards to individuals and groups who have made an outstanding contribution in training, education, safety, access and welfare. The BHS awards are highly regarded in the horse world and highlight the tremendous amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure a better understanding of equestrian needs. “I am delighted to have the opportunity to thank the people who have made such an outstanding contribution to the work of the BHS in 2004”, said Noel Edmonds. “Their efforts have not only helped the BHS in its invaluable work, but have also assisted horses and riders throughout the UK. The BHS depends upon people such as these and it is therefore appropriate that they be publicly recognised by the whole equestrian industry.” Also in attendance will be the winner of the BHS Summer Raffle, Mr Pete Cornish, who wins an amazing £1,500 cash prize.
