Middle Halsway Farm is a 16th Century period family farmhouse, located on the outer edge of the well-documented Crowcombe village, steps from the Quantock Hills. It is a romantic, peaceful setting, in an area offering outstanding and seemingly limitless outriding offered by this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The countryside is delightful, with typical rolling Somerset farmland, meandering streams, inviting woodland and miles and miles of well-maintained bridleways. It's the perfect place for a holiday with your horse.

Middle Halsway Farm is easily accessible with Taunton about 9 miles to the east of the M5 motorway (J25) and the railway station, giving regular intercity services. The Quantocks speak for themselves - labelled an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has an award winning pub and also a Post Office.

Five Henry Heditch purpose-built boxes (two foaling boxes which are 'extra large' size).

Size of stables:   Approx 12' x 14' to 14' x 16'

Feed store facilities: Yes Large stone construction (period) with purpose-built bins.
Tack room facilities: Yes Large tack room with hot water and wood burning stove. Space to store harness/tack etc.
Bedding: Yes Straw and hay provided - visitors must provide their own solid feed or alternative bedding if different from straw.
Hay and Haylage Yes Good quality, organically grown hay is provided. Purchase of other feeds can be arranged prior to arrival and added to the visitors invoice. Please discuss your individual requirements with Middle Halsway Farm.
Turn Out Description:

There are 50 acres of quality grass paddocks are available for the turnout of your horse from 1/2 acre paddocks to 7 acre paddocks. They have hedge and post and rail fencing and easily accessible five bar gates. There is a water supply in each paddock.

Exercise Area: No  
Out riding: Yes

On the Quantock Hills, which offer seemingly endless riding country including moorland, tracks, quiety lanes throughout this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Hunting Yes  With the West Somerset foxhounds and the Quantock Staghounds.
Parking and turning: Yes Ample parking and turning.
Yard Security: Yes Locks are available for gates leading into paddocks and into the yards.
