AGRICULTURAL SERVICES Linked to the Country Store is Badcock & Evered's Agricultural department for all your farming needs. Including animal feed, fertilizers, seeds, sprays, animal health, blocks, minerals and fencing.
GRASSTRAC Grass, hay and haylage are the lowest cost and most natural feeds for horses of all types. Owners and managers depend on them as the major source of nutrients throughout the year. But many soils are deficient in trace elements and the grass produced does not contain sufficient levels of these essential nutrients to meet the needs of the horse. Unless these deficiencies are corrected, health and performance are likely to suffer. Key trace elements: Copper, Selenium, Cobalt, Iodine, Zinc and Sodium Grasstrac gives season-long provision of these trace elements to improve health, fertility, condition, performance and makes paddocks more palatable. It is widely used by livestock farmers in the UK and Ireland. Grasstrac needs to be applied about 10 days before horses enter the paddock and for hay or haylage pasture, about 6-8 weeks before the cutting date.
