Welcome to Rackenford Equestrian & Healing Centre |
Rackenford Equestrian Centre opened in May 1999 and is located on founder Liz Loader and her husband Martin's 100 acre dairy farm - which is situated in beautiful Devon countryside, on the edge of Rackenford Moor, two miles from the village. The centre offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, where clients feel they can talk to Liz and staff about their ambitions, options and progress.
There is fun, informative instruction on well schooled horses - or on clients own horses in dressage or show jumping. Rackenford offers training for British Horse Society examinations and dressage courses.

Liz Loader BHSAI (Regd) |
Liz Loader competed successfully as a child and continues to do so when teaching allows. Liz trained locally, initially, with Sue Marshall at Greenham Equestrian Centre (unfortunately now closed). Other training was taken at Bicton College, Huntley and Talland Equestrian Centres. Liz started her career at Greenham. She also taught at local pony clubs for residential camps and rallies.
Since Rackenford has been established, Liz has taught mainly from here - where she teaches Pony Club members, local Riding Club, private clients on their own horses, as well as clients using the riding school.
Liz is a registered instructor with the British Horse Society. This means that she abides by a code of conduct when teaching, has an up to date First Aid at Work certificate, has attended a Good Practice and Child Protection workshop and keeps up to date with new teaching techniques.
At present, Liz is competing her horse, Kasanova, who is a thoroughbred x trakener, in dressage. He has had little competition experience but has been successful at Preliminary Level in every competition since March 2006. He is working at Novice Level with some lateral movement at home. The plan is to continue his progress through the levels.

| Liz Loader's Teaching Approach: Liz teaches groups or private lessons and treats each horse/rider partnership as an individual combination. Liz discusses any problems the rider is having with themselves or their horse, or both, or it might be to improve the partnership. Liz will help the rider with a progressive plan in the direction they wish to go. Liz is also able to offer school horses for adults or older teenager riders to improve and learn new riding skills, jumping or understanding how to ride your horse into a more correct outline, improving communication and feel with the horse. Liz is also able to offer healing to horses which enables her to have a deeper understanding of the horse. This has proved very useful while teaching, and can also help with behaviour problems, past traumas or just the wellbeing of your horse. |

| Liz Loader - Animal Healer and Communicator |
Distant Healing for horses and doges using either mane, tail or photo
Liz has a natural gift for Healing, which is a laying on of hands, non-intrusive natural and powerful method that uses the universal energy and love that is all around us. All animals are very receptive to healing because they intuitively know when something is right for them and that it could help. Natural Healing, although not a cure all, can offer in some cases instant relief from a mental, emotional or physical condition or experience.
The areas where Liz has found Healing to help:-
Allergies, Arthritic conditions, Behaviour problems, Grief, Injury, Moving home/change of owner, Past Trauma , Stress.
Please contact Liz personally to discuss your individual requirements - Tel. 01884 881451 or email liz.loader@supanet.com
