The Landscape |
The Sedgemoor landscape lends itself to horse riding, cycling and walking. There is excellent accommodation available throughout the district - perfect for an activity holiday.

| The Sedgemoor Coastline |

The Sedgemoor coastline is known for its fine beaches and sand dunes. Horse riding on the beach is permitted at Burnham-on-Sea, Brean and Berrow.

| Cheddar Gorge |
Visitors come to Cheddar Gorge, in the Mendip Hills, to experience its breathtaking limestone cliffs. Cheddar is also home to a number of attractions, including some of the most beautiful caves in Britain and is world-famous for its cheese production. |
| The Quantock Hills |
| Further south, the Quantock Hills offer wonderful views, traditional villages and rolling countryside. The Quantocks have a superb network of Bridleways, providing varied and exciting rides through woodland and open countryside. |
| Somerset Levels & Moors |
| Between the hills are the Somerset Levels and Moors, quiet wetlands famous for their willows and unspoilt meadows. The levels offer numerous opportunities for walking, angling and cycling. |
